Directs effective quality operations to maximize return on investment and community reputation. Increases revenues and income before inter-company allocations, maintains or decreases the effective bad debt rate, achieves the margin percentage, and implements operating cost controls in the areas of staffing, supplies, purchased services, etc.

Manages and develops employees. Through appropriate management practices, creates a hospital climate to motivate employees to highest performance. Establishes direction, coaches employees, provides feedback, and builds commitment

Position Description: Incumbent will have a successful                track record of strategic planning and implementation along with Medical Staff integration and contract negotiation.

The experienced Chief Administrative Officer will: 

Achieve budgeted financial objectives. 

Focus on census building efforts and strategic planning.

Recruit executives and physicians in targeted specialty areas, coordinate medical staff participation in new hospital ventures and targets and develop new areas of medical care to offer at the hospital.

Develop positive relationships with local industry, local government, potential key health care providers, and the general public.

Interact and communicate with Corporate Office and Regional V P’s.

Ensure the timely submission of month-end financial and operational reviews, contribute to the development of and participation in corporate-wide strategic planning efforts and maintains good communication with the corporate office in areas where periodic reporting of results is requested.

Ensure that hospital employees respond promptly to corporate requests for information.

Communicate circumstances and events of operations to supervisor and other appropriate people to keep all apprised

Professional Qualifications: Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years experience as an Administrator or Senior VP role.

Education Requirements: Minimum Bachelor’s with preference for Master’s in health care administration, Master’s in business administration, Master of Science in health care administration or a related field preferred.
